The hosts can have many hosting privileges, but not the other hosts. A participant or participants are able to join on before a host so you can get in earlier with guests rather than having to wait till the host joins.

Participants can become part of the meeting before anyone else joins, such as if you choose this option. Opening Hours : Mon – Fri: 8am – 5pm. Open Zoom. Click Meetings. Click Advanced Options. If you would like to add another host, use the email address that it has available. Click Save.

I now have the extra host in your meeting. A user who is scheduling Zoom meetings can add one or more other users to be “alternative hosts. This allows either the scheduler owner of the meeting or any of the alternative hosts to start and run the meeting. Whoever starts the meeting the owner or alternative host will be the host. In that case, when the owner or another alternative host joins after the meeting has started, they become co-hosts.

If you are assisting other individuals with scheduling Zoom meetings, it is recommended you have them give you permission to schedule those meetings on their behalf.

When you schedule a meeting for someone else, it will use their Zoom license when the session is live freeing up your personal account.
